In the mid-1990s, we initiated our strategic focus on food packaging products used in food processing and manufacturing plants. Already strong in product knowledge and application as a result of our presence in supermarkets and grocery stores, this was a logical progression upstream in the food segment. This focus also fit nicely with the transition of many food products into case-ready applications supplied to the grocers by food companies.

Our position in the food processor and packer industry was greatly enhanced with the acquisitions of Koch Supplies (2000), Packers Engineering & Equipment (2001) and Enterprise (2003). These acquisitions allowed us to combine and expand our product offerings and become a leader in the plant supplies and MRO market.
